The Rise of TerraClean in light of new MOT test rules
On the 20th May 2018, the UK government introduced a series of changes and new rules with regards to MOT testing, including the introduction of limits for emissions on diesel particular filters (DPF) for diesel cars.
So, what does this mean for you?
A DPF is an important part of a diesel car, it captures and stores exhaust soot in order to reduce emissions. The law now gives stricter limits for DPF’s, during MOT testing, meaning cars will receive an automatic fail if their DPF emits visible smoke of any colour. Garages will now also look into your DPF system to ensure nothing has been altered and can automatically fail any diesel car if tampering is detected.
What can I do?
Since the new law came into effect, there has been a noticeable uprise in demand for TerraClean’s DPF cleaning service. TerraClean is a completely safe and non-intrusive cleaning system, it uses highly refined, non-harmful fuel and advanced patented technology to clean your DPF.
